This Privacy Policy explains how Mt. Logos, LLC ("Mt. Logos," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Mt. Logos and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account information — such as your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). At signup you may also optionally provide a phone number, so Kanyon can personally call you to ask how the app is working for you and whether you know anyone else who might like it. It is never used for automated calls or texts, and is never sold.
• Content you create — planning entries, goals, journals, logs, and other data you enter into the Service ("Your Content").
• Payment information — if you purchase a subscription. Payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number.
• Communications — messages you send us (for example, support or "request a custom tab" emails).

• Affiliate information — if you apply to the affiliate program: your phone number, where you plan to share Mt. Logos, the payout destination you give us (such as a Venmo handle), and, if we pay you $600 or more in a year, the tax information the law requires (Form W-9).
• Cancellation information — if you cancel, the reason you select and any comments you add.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device data — such as browser type, device information, log data, and general interactions with the Service, used to operate and improve it.
• App-open dates — we record the calendar dates on which your account opens the app. This is a date only, tied to your account, with no information about what you did. It supports trial and account features.
• Which tabs you open — such as Budget, Gym Log, or Scripture — and how often, tied to your account. This tells us which parts of the Service are actually used. We never see what you typed inside them; that content is encrypted before it reaches us (see below).
• Location — only if you turn on location sharing in the Network tab. Off by default. When on, we store your device's approximate GPS coordinates (current position only — we do not keep a history of everywhere you've been) so a map in the Network tab can show it to (a) specific friends who send you a request that you personally approve, or (b) anyone else using Mt. Logos, if you choose the "public" visibility option instead of "approved friends only." Location only updates while the app is open in your browser — this is not background tracking. You can turn it off at any time in Network, which also removes your stored position immediately.
• Cookies and local storage — used to keep you signed in and remember preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Payments. Our payment processor (Stripe) collects and stores your card details directly and shares limited information with us — such as your subscription status, billing dates, the last four digits and brand of your card, and billing address. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

2. Your Content Is Encrypted Before It Reaches Us

Content you create in Mt. Logos is encrypted on your own device before it is sent to us, using a key derived from your password. That key never leaves your device. What we store is unreadable ciphertext: we cannot read your planning entries, budget, journal, or logs, and we cannot recover them for you if you lose both your password and your recovery code.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Respond to your requests and provide support;
• Send you service-related communications (for example, account, security, or transactional messages);
• If you gave us a phone number, personally call you (not an automated system) to check in on your experience and ask for referrals;
• If you turn on location sharing, show your approximate position on the Network map to the specific people/audience you chose (see above);
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers — such as hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing providers, who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mt. Logos, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice.

We do not share Your Content with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax and transaction records).

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of passwords and secure transmission. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and any recovery codes confidential.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
• Export a copy of Your Content;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us at mt.logos8@gmail.com. You may also delete your account at any time within the Service, and you may turn off location sharing (and immediately remove your stored position) at any time in the Network tab.

Residents of California and certain other states: You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information, no opt-out of "sale" is required.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

9. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
